Residential Fire in Clay

Shortly after 11:30am on Thursday, Moyers Corners was alerted to respond to a reported structure fire at the 4700 block of Route 31, in the Clay Fire District.

Prior to arrival, the Signal 99 was struck indicating a working structure fire. Engine 11 [Lt Apples] arrived as the first due engine and began extinguishing the bulk of the fire.

Engine 32 [Lt Sparkowski], Engine 41 [FF Tresner], and Truck 2 [Past D/C Beverly] all arrived shortly after and began their assigned fireground tasks.

Companies operated for approximately 3 hours before all MCFD equipment returned to service.
