Just before 7pm Wednesday night, Moyers Corners was alerted by the Onondaga County 911 Center for a reported residential fire on Winterberry Way, off Pine Gate Parkway, in the Station 4 response area.
Shortly after dispatch, an OCSO Patrol Unit arrived and notified responders that there was smoke coming out of multiple windows in the home. Car 1 [Chief Brown] arrived and confirmed the reports from the Deputy. Battalion 2 [B/C Rush] and Car 4 [D/C Beverly arrived shortly after the Chief, and made entry to the home, attempting to locate the fire.

Quickly locating the fire in the kitchen, Engine 12 extinguished the fire, and kept it contained to the stovetop. Truck 2 [Lt Orchard] arrived shortly after, and began a search of the home, ensuring that there was nobody inside.
